Kennel Attendant

This position is for the mature person and self-starter who can work well without supervision and be responsible for care and well being of our own dogs. Possibility on being a handler in the future.
These are working dogs with specific jobs. Looking for an enthusiastic, happy person
.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
-feeding, cleaning and grooming on a regular , reoccurring basis
-treadmill exercising dogs on a weekly basis
-maintaining accurate records of K9’s as well as issues and concerns that arise

Requirements. Must be physically fit and able to handler various breeds with ease
Must be flexible and willing to be on call if needed
Excellent communication skills and record keeping are essential to this role.
Valid driver’s license and clear drivers abstract and own transportation.
Non smoker
Current Police clearance check required.
Hours of work – 4-5 hrs per working day. Weekends – 7:30- 11:30 and on call
Starting Salary $18.00 per hour.
