A drywaller/painter is responsible for installing drywall and other materials to create interior walls and ceilings in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. They must be skilled in measuring, cutting, and fitting drywall to create smooth, seamless surfaces that are ready for painting or other finishing work. Mud, taping, and painting are also included with this position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Measure and cut drywall to fit specific areas of a building.
· Install drywall panels onto wall studs or ceiling joists using screws or nails.
· Primary Duty: Finish joints between panels using joint compound and tape to create a seamless surface.
· Primary Duty: mud and tape installed drywall to finish it.
· Repair and replace damaged drywall.
· Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
· Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Experience:
· Two years of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
KEY COMPETENCIES
· Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials, as well as stand, kneel, and crouch for long periods of time.
