Temporary Delivery Driver Needed – December-January

Looking to make a little extra income over the holidays? Golden Horseshoe ice cream delivery is looking for a reliable, mature and punctual individual for a temporary driver position from December 16, 2024 to January 21, 2025. A good opportunity for someone who has their B, D and A license, and is retired or semi-retired.
Duties include driving a 27ft automatic, hydraulic brake truck, with a starting location in Ancaster by the fairgrounds to get your truck, and complete daily deliveries to grocery and convenience stores in Burlington, Hamilton, Caledonia and Grimsby to Niagara Falls.
Job includes half of the time driving and half of the time labour.
Truck pick up starts between 5 and 5:30am, and the day will finish between 2 and 4pm, depending on how many deliveries there are.
Must have transportation to get yourself to the truck yard in west Ancaster and a cell phone to use Google maps for route directions.
A clean driving record is required to be presented via an abstract.
Compensation is $25/hour.
