We are seeking a dedicated Farm Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about agriculture and possess the necessary skills to contribute to our farm operations.

Responsibilities
– Maintain and irrigate crops to ensure proper growth
– Operate farm machinery and hand tools for various tasks
– Assist in garden maintenance and upkeep
– Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
– Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations
– Use power tools for construction and repair work
– Operate heavy equipment with precision and care
– Apply mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance

Experience
– Experience in farm work or a related field is preferred but not required
– Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and manual labor
– Proficiency in operating farm machinery, hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
– Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
– Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance

Starting immediately until December 2024, must work in all conditions, 6 days a week. Pay is $17.20 per hour. Must work well with others. Specific duties include planting, cultivating, weeding, harvesting crops such as echinacea, goldenseal etc. Operating machinery would be an asset.
