LANDSCAPING COMPANY LOOKING TO HIRE LABOURERS!!

We are seeking 1-2 hard working, fast learning individuals to join our team. The labourer will work alongside a team of professionals to execute various landscaping projects, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction. The ideal labourer must be willing and able to perform physical work. We also take on snow shovelling contracts in the winter so you would have a guaranteed position once the landscaping season is done.

Responsibilities:
Execution of Landscape Projects: Perform various tasks related to landscape construction and maintenance, including but not limited to planting, mulching, sodding, irrigation installation, and hardscaping.

Site Preparation: Prepare sites for landscaping activities by clearing debris, grading terrain, and ensuring proper drainage.

Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as blowers, and small power tools in a safe and efficient manner.

Material Handling: Assist in the transportation, loading, and unloading of materials, and equipment necessary for landscaping projects.

Hardscape Installation: Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as retaining walls, walkways, patios, and decorative stonework.

Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment and performing tasks on job sites. Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to supervisors.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including landscapers, supervisors, and contractors, to ensure efficient project execution and timely completion.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in landscaping and grounds maintenance would be preferred, with a demonstrated ability to perform a variety of tasks related to landscape construction and maintenance.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks in various weather conditions, including lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Knowledge: Solid understanding of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment. Familiarity with hardscape installation techniques is a bonus!

Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Willingness to take direction from supervisors and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.

Reliability: Punctuality, dependability, and a strong work ethic are essential. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently and accurately.

Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is a MUST including own transportation to and from job sites. Experience operating trucks and trailers for hauling equipment and materials is a plus.

hardscape/interlock construction: 1 year (preferred but we can train!)
