Our Client is currently seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager. When you join Master Mechanics, you become a member of an incredibly talented and diverse group of colleagues. The Service Manager position is valued and is highly interconnected with the Sales and Parts department managers who share an overarching goal of maintaining and improving the efficient operation.

We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager with a background in both dealership and small franchise shops. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in managing service operations, customer relations, and team leadership, who is also proficient in operating Lankar software.

Responsibilities :

Manage and supervise a team of mechanics, providing guidance and support as needed
Schedule and assign work orders to mechanics, ensuring efficient use of resources
Monitor the progress of repairs and maintenance jobs to ensure timely completion
Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
Upsell additional services or repairs to customers based on their vehicle’s needs
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
Collaborate with other departments within the dealership to ensure smooth operations
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
Requirements:

Strong automotive repair knowledge and mechanical aptitude
Previous experience working as a Service Manager within the automotive industry
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers
Proven ability to lead and manage a team, fostering a positive work environment
Experience in upselling products or services is highly desirable
Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic financial record keeping
Familiarity with dealership operations and processes is preferred .
