Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role within our organization.

Key Requirements:

• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks of drywall and various building materials
• Move materials to and from storage areas and production areas
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
• Abiding by all Health and Safety Regulations as laid out by Encore Drywall Material Supplies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
• Proven ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
• Warehouse background with exposure to WHIMIS an asset
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Forklift certification and experience as asset
