Steel Worker/Structural Welder

Job description

• Responsible for welding and assembling metal structures and components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Responsible for erecting, placing and joining steel girders, columns and other pieces to form structural frameworks.

Job requirements:

• Completion of a certified welding program and/or steel worker apprenticeship program preferred
• CWB welding ticket SMAW all position.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding activities
• Experience in structural welding
• A valid driver’s license
• Excellent knowledge of construction equipment such as telehandlers, scissor lifts, forklifts, in addition to laser levels, power tools and welding equipment
• Physically fit and able to work at heights.
• Willingness to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions.
