Outbound Sales/Customer Service Representative

We are seeking an energetic and reliable professional person to join our dynamic and evolving support center team as an Outbound Sales/Customer Service Representative.

  • The successful candidates will be responsible for answering and routing incoming customer calls, utilizing company policies to solve customer issues and directing calls to the managerial team when necessary. Our customer service center is the first point of contact for customers’ product issues, so we are interested in hiring individuals with a commitment to customer satisfaction and an ability to make quick and accurate decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • · Make outbound customer calls to promote and sell or upsell our products and services

  • · Keep track of and follow up on all outbound calling to provide trust/creditable and any follow up needed to close generated business-inbound focus as well

  • · Receive and route inbound calls for multiple companies, including calls from current and potential customers.

  • · Answer questions about the product details, the company, and accounts.

  • · Book tickets and escalate any issues to management as appropriate

  • · Perform basic account maintenance activities.

  • · Meet Quality Assurance Requirements and other key performance metrics.

  • · Maintain customer satisfaction ratings based on explicit criteria set forth by the company

  • · Attend mandatory training sessions to stay updated on product or company policy changes

  • · Use company policies to determine if there can be an immediate resolution to a customer issue or if that issue requires managerial input

  • · Input data into the company computer platform to keep each customer record updated

  • · Holiday work may be required from time to time

Qualifications:

  • · Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

  • · Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections

  • · Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment

  • · Must possess and professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phone.

  • · Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly

  • · Ability to type 50 wpm

  • · Previous 1st level IT support skills an asset

  • · Excellent phone handling and presence required

  • · Minimum Required Qualifications

  • · Must be at least 19 years of age

  • · Reliable transportation is required
