Job Description

This position is suitable for an individual that is highly motivated with a passion to visualize and create custom designs.
As a Carpenter with the Mar-Jess Team you will be responsible for the follow through of our client’s vision and working closely with our Management team to ensure the result is a success. You will be preforming the tasks and duties required for each job and reporting regularly to the management team with accurate interpretation of any updates or concerns from our client’s

Responsibilities
-Cleaning your workspace daily
-Demolish and haul away
-Providing a high level of customer service and communicating accurately between Client and Management Team
-Ensuring a safe work environment
-Reporting any safety concerns to Management Team
-Use personal protective equipment
-Available to work Monday-Fridays and the occasional Saturday
-Preforming physical labor jobs
-Prioritize work effectively to meet strict service deadlines

Qualifications
-Works well independently and in a group environment
-Supervise apprentices and other construction staff on occasion
-Strong standard of accuracy and quality
-Ability to interpret blueprints and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
-Determine layouts and installations procedures
-Framing
-Finishing millwork and trim
-Valid driver’s license
-Operate truck and trailer
-Tape, mud, sand and paint would be an asset
-Minimum 3 years of industry experience
-Strong communication skills
-Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented
-Strong problem solving skills
-Strong standard of accuracy and quality
