Hiring – Dispatch Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling shipments, communicating with drivers and customers, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

– Haul Loads to customers across AB and SK

– Coordinate and schedule shipments

– Dispatch other drivers and coordinate pilot vehicles and permits as required

– Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams

– Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments

– Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and issues promptly

– Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities

– Provide or organize maintanence to all vehicles

– Oversee and help setup crew

– Possibility of workers as a Sales Assistant or Carpenter as needed

Qualifications

– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, customers, and team members

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently

– Proficient typing skills to input data accurately

– Class 1 license will be given preference or equivalent trailer experience

– Must be able to spend nights away on the road. Accomodations provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
