Sandblasting/Powder Coating

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented individual looking to join a dynamic team in the finishing and fabrication industry? We are seeking a dedicated Sandblaster and Powder Coating Laborer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing metal surfaces for powder coating and ensuring that finished products meet our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Sandblasting:
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces.
Remove rust, paint, and other contaminants from metal parts and components.
Ensure proper handling and storage of sandblasting materials and equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Powder Coating:
Prepare and coat metal parts using powder coating techniques.
Set up and operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and curing ovens.
Inspect coated surfaces for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on powder coating equipment as needed.
General Labor:
Assist in loading and unloading materials and parts.
Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
Follow all company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in sandblasting and/or powder coating is preferred but not required.
Ability to operate sandblasting and powder coating equipment safely and efficiently.
Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial settings.
