HIRING 2 EXPERIENCED PLASTERERS FOR FAST GROWING STUCCO COMPANY – CONSISTENT WORK AVAILABLE FOR THE 2024/2025 SEASON AND BEYOND

We are a fast growing family company looking for TWO experienced plasterers who take pride in their work ethic and want to be part of a positive, hardworking and respectful team. Wage is negotiable for reliable candidates that demonstrate a superior skill level and require no training.

Candidate must be able to execute the following:

Strong communication skills.
Set up and take down scaffolding for stucco jobs.
Set up scaffolding and other equipment to safety standards.
Experienced in the use and safety of heavy equipment such as lifts or booms.
Experience in plaster, lath, foam and stucco applications.
Apply coats of plaster or stucco to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings.
Proficient in both conventional and acrylic EIFS stucco systems.
Create decorative textures in finish coat, using brushes and trowels
Perform various construction activities with expertise in plastering.
Meticulous attention to detail of finishes, textures & colors including custom work.
Utilize job construction experience and time management skills on site at all times.
Respect yourself, your team and other trades at all times.

Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Able to work in a variety of weather conditions
Bending, crouching, kneeling
Handling heavy work loads
Physically demanding
Comfortable with heights, ladders, lifts and scaffolding
Able to carry up to 23 kgs (50 lbs)

Our current largest work site for 2024 is in Selkirk, Manitoba. A valid drivers license and the ability to provide your own transportation to sites in Winnipeg and the surrounding area will be considered an asset. Preference will be given to applicants who have their own transportation.

Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Occasional Saturdays during peak season
