Experienced and Reliable Nanny Needed Part Time in Ajax, Ontario

We are looking for a part time nanny to help with afternoon pickups from daycare and school for our son and daughter, 6 and 2 years old. The pick up location is the same for both children and is a 10 minute walk from the home. expected hours are 2-3 hours per day, 2-3 days/week.

Location: North Ajax (Rossland and Ravenscroft area)

Hours: 4:00 – 7:00 pm 2-3 times per week

Hourly rate: $20-25/hour depending on skills and experience

Duties:
pick up from daycare;
prepare dinner; serve and clean up
Changing diapers (if needed)
Tidy up play areas and children’s rooms
Take care of children in case of injury or illness
Ensure children’s safety during indoors and outdoors activities
Reading to the children, helping with homework
Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed (fold laundry, sweep floors, etc.)

Qualifications:

for pick ups in inclement weather must have a vehicle with full G license and recent driver’s abstract (car seats will be provided by us).

be able to walk 2 children in wagon/stroller (which we will provide).

CPR/First Aid training is an asset

background in babysitting, childcare, home care, etc

Understanding of child development in different stages.
