Joyful, patient nanny wanted for winter school break in Nunavut:

We’re looking for a short-term live-in nanny to come join us in Iqaluit, Nunavut this December for a ~4-5week contract.
The ideal candidate would be warm, patient, experienced with young kids, and deeply kind – someone who loves children.

We’ll be working in Iqaluit, Nunavut over the winter holidays (roughly early December through early January) and will need a live-in nanny to look after our 18month and 3yr old. We’ll pay your flight here and back from Ottawa (a rare chance to experience the Canadian Arctic!), provide room and board (you’ll have a large room on a separate floor of a three-floor townhouse), and pay $19/hr for ~40hr/week of work. Schedule varies day to day as we both do shift work at the local hospital. Nanny will also be responsible for their share of meal prep and housekeeping.

This would be a perfect gig for a student on break between fall and spring semester – we’re flexible to arrange the contract around your school schedule.
