Experienced Nanny Wanted in Orleans Ontario – $25/hr

Are you an experienced nanny with a passion for caring for children and helping around the house? The Gallagher family in Orleans, Ontario is looking for a part-time, live-out nanny to provide exceptional care for their primary school-aged kids. This role will also include light housekeeping, meal preparation, and pet care. If you are CPR certified and have a genuine love for animals, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
The Gallagher family is seeking a nurturing and responsible individual who can engage their children in fun and educational activities, and ensure their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate should be:

First Aid Certified

Must hold a valid certification in First Aid and CPR.

Knowledge of basic emergency procedures.

Experience with Children

Proven experience in babysitting or childcare.

Comfortable with children of various ages.

Cooking Skills

Ability to prepare simple, nutritious meals.

Knowledge of food safety and handling.

Experience with Special Needs

Experience and comfort in working with children with autism or other special needs.

Understanding of sensory sensitivities and behavioral management techniques.

Handling Multiple Children

Capable of managing and engaging three children simultaneously.

Skills in conflict resolution and maintaining order.

Comfortable with Pets

Good with dogs and able to manage pet-related tasks.

No allergies to common household pets.

Strong Communication Skills

Effective communication with both children and parents.

Ability to provide updates and reports on children’s activities and behavior.

Background Check

Willingness to undergo a background check.

Clean record with no criminal history.

References

Provide at least two references from previous babysitting or childcare positions.

Creative and Engaging

Ability to come up with creative and educational activities.

Engages children in play, learning, and developmentally appropriate activities.

Safety Conscious

Prioritizes safety in all activities.

Knowledgeable about childproofing and safe practices around the home.
