Pipelayer

Rockhard Excavating is a fast growing company with a positive atmosphere that specializes in residential and commercial Civil Construction projects. We are well established in the Okanagan and have been operating for 10 years. Looking for Immediate filling of this position.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Civil Construction Pipe Layer to join our team for a full time permanent position.

This is a diverse position that includes both working independently and in crews for various types of commercial and residential excavation projects.

Requirements:
-2 years experience in the Civil Construction Industry
-Experienced with running all types of heavy equipment is an asset
-Ability to work along side the Foreman and lead the crew to efficiently install sanitary, storm and water mainlines, services and shallow utility conduits
-Experience with foundation excavation and road construction is considered an asset but not required
-Ability to work both independently and in a crew
-Ability to lead and train labourers
-Experience with Topcon GPS & Pocket 3D an asset but not required
-Ability to read and interpret civil and foundation drawings is an asset but not required
-Knowledge of MMCD specifications an asset but not required
-Raceway ticket, Confined space ticket and First Aid tickets are assets but not required
-A valid drivers license and own vehicle

Wages range from $28.00-$38.00 per hour and are negotiable based on experience level.
