Looking for a Reliable Nanny/Respite Care in Surrey, BC – $25/hr

A client of mine is seeking a nanny or respite worker to assist with childcare for a 10 year old child diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This live-out position and has a competitive hourly rate of $25.
Hours will range between 1-3 or 1:30-3:30 for the school year. Extra sessions can be added during school breaks but are not required. Training will be provided by Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, Leanne Schiedel and the child’s parents on the behaviour plan and basic routine. You would be responsible for picking student up from school, walking her home (1 block from school), helping student to follow afterschool routine and monitoring the child while on their afterschool break. This is a perfect position for a university student looking for a part time job that allows time for studying after child finishes her routine until Mom gets home or someone who is looking to fill their afternoons before heading to afterschool work.
