Kennel Hand/Key holder

Country Hills Dog Resort is a newly opened dog boarding and daycare facility.
We are seeking a full & part time dedicated experienced fun loving Kennel Hand to join our team! The Kennel Hand will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of animals in our facility.

DUTIES
– Keep Water bowls clean & full at all times, feed animals according to schedules and feeding instructions
– Clean and disinfect kennels, yard, pool, & safely dispose of dog waste.
– Monitor animal behavior for signs of illness or distress
– Play with dogs in yard, take daily photos.
– Administer medications as directed by pet owners if needed
– Always monitor animal behaviour.
-Key holder responsibilities including opening & closing the facility according to operating hours.
-Reception duties such as taking payments from booked & walk in clients during drop of of their dogs

REQUIREMENTS
– Previous experience in animal care is preferred, we are seeking a responsible, compassionate and very well experienced individual.
– Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
– Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners
– Capable of performing heavy lifting when necessary such as bags of dog food provided by dog owners.
