Seeking Part Time Care for my Mother in Cabbagetown, Toronto, On

Hello,
My name is Janet and I am the daughter of Jean Cuddy. She lives in her townhouse in Cabbagetown. My oldest brother lives with her but is usually out at work or busy with his own interests at home. My mother is physically very well especially as she is about to be 97! She walks without a walker, can dress herself and uses the bathroom on her own. She needs help with meals, light cleaning and companionship. She takes pills once a day with breakfast – there is no other medication. She has dementia so has a fair bit of memory loss. She has no history of wandering and her disposition is happy and interested in the world. She loves music.

We already have a PSW daily from 9 – 1 (4 hours). I am looking to give her Sundays off and to add 2 or 3 evenings (roughly 6:30 – 8:30) into the schedule of care. Which evenings that would be is flexible. Hours may increase as my mother’s needs increase.

I am looking for someone who lives downtown so the short evening shifts do not involve a lot of travel. I would like someone to start as soon as possible. CRC is required. CPR is an asset.
