Forklift operator

Okanagan Sunshine Fruit Packer Ltd. is a cherry, soft fruit and apple packing and shipping facility located at 3201 Pooley Road, Kelowna, BC, is looking to hire Forklift operator to join their team as soon as possible.

Wage: $ 17.40-20 per hr (To be Negotiated)

Job Functions /Responsibilities:
• Unloading and loading trucks, trailers, and tractors
• Moving, stacking, and unstacking fruit bins inside and outside of the packing plant.
• Moving packing supplies around our facility.
• Working in a safe efficient manner, following applicable work safe and food safe requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Efficient individual with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Working knowledge of basic tools and vehicle maintenance is an assert
• Prior experience as a forklift operator.
