Seeking Experienced Nanny in North Vancouver, BC $30/hr

We are a family of 3 with 2 small dogs. Our son is 2.5 years old and we are looking for a part-time nanny, 3 days a week. We are also open to the idea of a live-in nanny if the fit is right down the road. We have a full independent, newly renovated suite in a beautiful character home in Upper Lonsdale, North Vancouver.

We are looking for someone who has at least 7 years’ experience with babies. Must be flexible and able to travel with us to the US and other international trips. Duties include (but not limited to) playtime, activities that help our sons growth and development, feedings, nap times, diaper changes, bath time, reading, daily walks (depending on weather) laundry and light housekeeping.

Qualifications must include:

– Qualified to work in Canada (open to the possibility of sponsorship if timeline works for start date)
– Must speak English
– Class 5 Drivers License with a clean driving record
– Complete background check/ reference check
– At least 25 years’ old
– CPR and First Aid certification
– At least 7 years’ experience with children from ages 6 months
– Background in healthcare a major plus
– Background as a Certified Doula a major plus
– Foodsafe a plusnd nurturing individual to join our family as a full-time, live-out nanny for our infant and primary school-aged children. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $30.00 and the opportunity to become a valued member of our household.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for providing attentive and loving care to our infant and assisting with the daily needs of our primary school-aged child. Additionally, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and pet care may be required. Candidates with CPR certification and prior experience in childcare will be given preference.
