Job Title: TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welder
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding various materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals, using the TIG welding process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding principles, excellent hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
– Weld various materials using the TIG welding process
– Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
– Set up and maintain welding equipment, including TIG welders and accessories
– Ensure weld quality and appearance meet company standards
– Work safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and procedures
– Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
– Maintain a clean and organized workspace
– Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
– 2 years of experience in TIG welding
– Strong understanding of welding principles and techniques
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
– Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
– Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
– High school diploma or equivalent required; welding certification preferred
– Ability to work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience with other welding processes, such as MIG or ARC
– Knowledge of metallurgy and materials science
– Experience working with various metals, including stainless steel and aluminum
Working Conditions:
– Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, sparks, and welding fumes
– Must wear personal protective equipment, including welding helmet, gloves, and safety glasses
– May require working at heights or in confined spaces
