Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing…

  • You will have full responsibility to coordinate, triage, and prioritize service desk tickets and operational requests pertaining to NSCC’s Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS Analyst provides functional analysis expertise and skills in the planning, development, testing, and execution of LMS projects.
  • You will divide your time between operations and projects. This division will be assigned based on your workload, project specific needs, growth and development needs. The Manager, Enterprise Applications, will do these assignments.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is a post-secondary diploma in Information Technology Management.
  • You have a minimum of three years (full time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience in information technology.
  • You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience working with Learning Management System (LMS) such as Brightspace would be an asset.
  • You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology in advancing your work
  • Experience in training/facilitation preparation, delivery and evaluation would be considered an asset
  • Experience supporting/providing service to students and prospective students would be considered an asset
