We are currently looking for a Pump Technician / Plumber for Monday – Friday hours 7:00 AM- 5:00 with overtime available.

Applicant must be able to commute to our shop located in the beautiful town of Diamond Valley Alberta.

Duties may include but are not limited to: servicing clients filtration systems, tying in water wells to dwellings, cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, using a variety of tools and machines on site, providing labor support for the drilling and pump division. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and organized. This is a physically demanding job.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Ability to use and comprehend a variety of power hand tools.

· Must be able to read and write in English fluently.

· Critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills.

· Ability to lift to 22.68 Kg (50 lbs).

· Tools will be provided to perform the work.

· Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and rebuild various types of systems.

· Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.

· Must be reliable and accountable to complete work.

Requirements

Minimum Required Education, Credentials, Licenses and Experience:

Must have a high school diploma.
Must have reliable transportation.
Plumbing experience is an asset
Ability to drive standard and tow trailer
Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
Shifts over 8 hours typical
Travel
Both environmental conditions: Indoor, Outdoor
Extreme cold and heat

Pay: $24.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
