The client is well positioned to serve the world’s most promising agricultural regions with long-lived reserves and strategically placed, efficient production assets.Their Research and Development team welcomes a key member to join them for creating front-end PowerApps applications and designing/implementing data models and ETL processes to support our team’s R&D workflow management, analytics, and sales enablement goals. What you’ll be doing:As a PowerApps Developer, you will work on the PowerApps platform and enhance data-driven decision-making processes and optimizing business operations through efficient data management and analysis.Practically speaking, your responsibilities and duties include:  PowerApps Application Building – 70% PowerApps Application Testing – 20 % ETL Development   – 10 % The DetailsThis is a contract project-based position with the flexible work schedule up to 20 hours per a week, offering a competitive hourly pay and 100% remote work option from any geographical locations across North America: US or Canada. What you’ll bring:  Education and Certification: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer scienceCertification: PL-400 Microsoft Power Platform Developer (an asset) Qualifications and Experience  1– 3 years experience of Application Development with PowerApps 3 – 5 years experience with Data Design, Development, and Management in Cloud Platforms (Azure) 1 – 3 years experience in ETL Development (i.e. PowerAutomate) Technical skills: PowerApps, SQL, Azure, PowerAutomate Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Database Development: Design and implement scalable and efficient data models that support data integration, analysis, and reporting requirements. Optimize data structures for performance and ease of maintenance, considering factors like data volume, frequency of updates, and query complexity. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Processes: Develop robust ETL processes to extract data from various sources, perform necessary transformations, and load data into data repositories and analytics platforms. Ensure data integrity and consistency during the ETL process and conduct regular data validation to guarantee high-quality data output. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation of data models, ETL processes, and application development for future reference and team knowledge sharing.
