Full Time Aide / Part-time Tutor

Well established family in the south of Calgary is looking for an Aide for a young woman with light Special Needs. Client is fully funded by Gov of Alberta PDD (Persons with Development Disabilities) program.

The client is a happy high school graduate and would like to move into post-secondary instruction. At present the family is upgrading her academic and social skills as this instruction was interrupted by Covid while at high school.

Client Details:

• Female 19 years old.
• Physical disabilities – None
• Minor Cognitive Delay

Situation / Work:

• 36-40 hours guaranteed a week.
• Tutoring in school basics
• Assisting with social integration opportunities – Movies, Volunteering etc
• Instruction on practical basics.

Requirements:

• Previous experience useful
• Empathy and Patience
• Current Police Check
• Own Transportation
• Fluent in English
• Current Resume is appreciated
