Part-Time Nanny Trained in ASD Wanted in North York, Ontario – $

Hello everyone,
We are looking for a live-out, part-time nanny to care for our 4-year-old and almost-2-year-old for 2-3 days a week. This role would include school pickup, accompanying to social programming (such as library story time/song circles) and playgrounds, and minor housekeeping as it relates to caring for our kiddos.

Both of our children have been diagnosed with Level 1 Autism Spectrum Disorder, with our youngest having been very recently diagnosed. They are very bright and very silly and lovely, but their challenges require some extra attentiveness and TLC. In order to best cater to our children’s needs and safety, we are looking for someone who has experience working with young children on the autism spectrum. For this reason, we are leaving the salary negotiable, understanding it would need to be a minimum of $20/hour.

Driving is not an expected requirement however parking can be provided if the successful applicant prefers to drive. Alternatively, we are a 3-5 minute walk from Line 1. Our household also includes a dog and a cat, so potential applicants should ideally not be allergic to, or fearful of, pets.
