We are seeking an established and highly motivated individual to fill the position of a Residential Framer. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least three years of experience working with wood framing, will be familiar with current framing techniques, and will have the ability to quickly perform standard, alterations and customizations.
Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm. Must have proper PPE and come prepared for weather fluctuations. Basic framing tools. Skill saw and nail gun are assets as well. If you are not comfortable with heights please ensure you share that information.
Some Responsibilities:
• Accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping lumber, wood, and other building materials.
• Attaching building materials using nails, screws, nuts, and bolts.
• Erect walls, floor systems and truss systems.
• Analyzing blueprints and drawings to determine the structural dimensions of the framework to be constructed.
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
• Lay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00-$40.00 per hour
Schedule:
• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:
• Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
• carpentry: 3 years (required)
