Carpenter Position

Job description
General Contractor seeking experienced carpenters with diverse skill set in structural framing and finish carpentry.

Projects will consist of new build residential, renovations, additions, and commercial projects. Must be organized, reliable and able to meet tight deadlines.

Must be able to obtain government security clearances.
Drivers Licence Required.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: Based on experience

Experience:
Carpentry: 3 years (preferred)

Responsibilities:
– Assemble and fabricate structures and frameworks using various tools and materials
– Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine specifications and requirements
– Measure, cut, shape, and smooth materials according to specifications
– Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and countertops
– Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
– Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion

Skills:
– Proficient in carpentry techniques including measuring, cutting, shaping, and smoothing materials
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings
– Knowledge of building codes and regulations
– Familiarity with various carpentry tools and equipment
– Basic understanding of electrical systems for installation purposes
