Accounting Technician

Accelerate LLP is an entrepreneurial accounting firm with significant growth and can provide meaningful career opportunities. Accelerate LLP is currently looking for an experienced, motivated and client driven individual to join our growing team as an accounting technician.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
– Ability to complete online and desktop bookkeeping transactions using accounting platforms such as Quickbooks, Sage, Caseware and Xero
– Lead bookkeeping and compilation engagements and manage them from start to finish.
– Complete tax related mandates such as GST returns, T4s and T5s.
– Communicate directly with clients, manage client billings and participate in client meetings.
– Compile payroll for clients as required.
– Handle government audits and manage and correspondence with government authorities.
– Manage staff, providing guidance and coaching and developing their knowledge
– Work as crucial link between partners and junior staff.

A successfull candidate will have:
– 1 to 5 years experience in a similar role.
– Experience preparing compilation/NTR engagements with CaseWare.
– Knowledge of payroll
– Pro Advisory certification with Quickbooks online or similar is an asset.
– Exceptional ability to prioritize work, along with strong organization and time management skills.
– Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

This position offers very attractive compensation and a regular work schedule in a friendly in informal office.

Pay : From $65,000 per year.
