Lead hand framers needed

Our Company specializes in the wood framing of multifamily homes. We are looking for experienced framers to increase the size of our leading staff. The lead hand will construct the wooden frame of the building. He will work along side the owners to manage the team. He will ensure that the building is built according to the plans and in a timely fashion. Our ideal applicant has: 5-10 years of carpentry experience and is familiar with all aspects of wood framing. The candidate should also have a solid work ethic. We have a 2 rotative forklifts on site and provide a positive work environment with lots of room for growth.
Framer Duties and Responsibilities:
Study the blueprints and layout walls, floors and trusses
Build decks and porches
Install stairs and windows
Supervise a team of laborers or construct the frame yourself
Inspect the work and make sure it meets our quality standards
Construction experience:
Experience with a variety of hand and power tools
Blueprint reading skills
Forklift driving experience
Be proficient in all aspects of backframing
Compensation range:
$30-$40/hr (depending on experience and production)
