Wanted, HET On/Off Hiway, Truck and transport, High HP Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) who has High Horsepower Diesel engine experience, to join our team in a very busy independent full service repair facility with over 140 years combined experience focusing on engine work.

The applicant should expect to perform engine and electrical diagnostics and light repairs through to overhaul. We regularly see a wide variety of oil field equipment including frac pumps, blenders, and mobile cranes. The applicant should be self motivated and work well with others, willing to learn and share knowledge.

Exposure to the following engines is an asset; QSK23, 45, 50 and 60, MTU 2000 and 4000, Cat C18, C27, and 3512.

Due to the nature of the shop to customer workflow dynamic. The applicant should expect to work on all aspects of Heavy trucks including engine and powertrain components, electronic and electrical components, commercial vehicle inspections and repairs. Experience in these areas is very welcomed. Overtime is often available.

We are also looking for a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) or Truck and Transport mechanic who has experience in Cat, Cummins and Detroit Diesel engines to join our team. The applicant should expect to work on all aspects of heavy trucks including engine and powertrain components, electronic and electrical systems. There is exposure to some automotive repairs as well as stationary engines i.e. generators and pumps, as well mobile cranes. The applicant should be self motivated and work well with others, willing to learn and share knowledge.

Wages: Base At $42/hr- Top end negatable pending experience.

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week, overtime after 40.
