Job Description:
We are two busy working professionals seeking a compassionate, reliable, and energetic nanny to care for our two children, ages 2 and 5, and assist with our large senior dog. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children, a strong work ethic, and a proactive approach to childcare.
Our family values daily time outdoors, including trips to the beach, exploring the forest, riding bikes, swimming and playing sports. We believe in an active, screen-free lifestyle for our children.

Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and nurturing care for our children
Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities primarily for our 2 year old
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the kids
Daily reading and educational activities for our 2 year old
Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times
Maintain a clean and organized environment (light housekeeping such as sweeping floors, kids laundry and emptying the dishwasher are appreciated).
Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children’s day-to-day activities and any concerns
Provide basic care and companionship for our large senior dog (feeding, letting out, walking, etc.)
Organize and participate in outdoor activities such as beach trips, forest walks, bike rides, playdates and sports
Encourage and support a screen-free environment
Handle school drop-offs and pick-ups for our 5 year old

Requirements:
Strong communication in english
Previous nanny or childcare experience
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Comfortable using an electric bike for transportation
Comfortable with pets
Strong communication and organizational skills
Non-smoker
Active and enjoys spending time outdoors – rain or shine.
References from previous employers

Schedule:
Monday to Thursday
34 hours per week
Guaranteed hours

Compensation:
$22 – $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
2 weeks unpaid vacation
Paid sick days
Holiday pay
