Landscape Technician

Solar Sheep Inc

We are a company in full support of agrivoltaics; dual purpose land use combining livestock grazing and solar photovoltaics. While we recognize that not all sites are yet suitable for grazing, we believe they can be. We support and guide our clients to ensure their sites have access to all the tools available to establish vegetation. Our company focuses on managed, rotational grazing, as a primary means of vegetation control. For purposes of weed abatement and improved vegetation, there are times when we combine several methods, including mechanical control, herbicide use on an as-needed basis, followed by significant, multiple, reseeding efforts. The goal is to ensure utility-scale solar installations have superior vegetation, allowing our animals to grow and thrive.
