Who We Are Looking For
The counter-drone or C-UAS technology market is expanding worldwide to provide security against the increasing threat of rogue drones/UAVs. We are looking for a candidate that can help us grow our business in the Latin- America Market [LATAM] and manage new client relationships.
Skycope seeks an Executive Business Development and Sales Director who will be responsible to lead the overall business strategies in LATAM: the penetration to new countries and key regional prospects, the development of new market initiatives, the regional marketing operations and campaigns; the C-UAS regional market analysis and business opportunities in Governmental and Private sector in the region. He/she will be responsible for closing the business deals and meeting the sales targets in the target region. Our environment is fast-paced with constantly changing priorities and continuous opportunities to learn and grow. The candidate must be agile, adjust quickly and be able to travel globally.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities and ventures that are consistent with Skycope’s product lines
Establish and maintain relationships with dealer/partners and key decision makers
Promote products and profit-sharing strategies to prospective clients
Develop and manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
Meeting the yearly sales targets by successfully closing the business deals
Conduct high level conversations with senior business executives and government officials for prospective business and partnership creation
Conduct market research and make strategic business development plans

Qualifications
10 years of proven experience in opening new businesses in LATAM (MoD, HLS Organizations, Critical Infrastructure) and closing business deals.
4 Years of proven experience in C-UAS sales to the Governmental Market in LATAM
Proven experience in promoting and closing deals for Skycope C-UAS products in LATAM
Proven relationships and contacts with existing governmental stakeholders in LATAM including heads and top decision makers of Government and HLS organizations, and top commanders in Army, Air Forces and Navy.
Fluent (Native/Bilingual) in Spanish and Portuguese
Proven experience in successfully opening subsidiary companies and business units in LATAM.
Vast experience in consulting and/ or dealing successfully with Brazilian importation taxation system including resolving taxes issues and opening path to sales in Brazil and from Brazil to the Mercosur market.
Familiarity with regulatory processes of importing dual-use C-UAS systems to LATAM key countries
In-depth knowledge in C-UAS technologies and solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation and skills
Ability to prioritize tasks; follow company policies, and work independently in an organized way
Eligible to travel globally
Bachelor’s degree (mandatory), MBA (preferred).
