HIRING DZ DRIVERS – LEWIN ENTERPRISE INC

Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday (6am-3pm) Must be flexible
MUST HAVE 3 YEARS MINIMUM OF NORTH AMERICAN COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE
Lewin Enterprise Inc. is a flourishing family-owned business that has been operating successfully for over 30 years. We provide exceptional service to our various clients across Ontario. We are looking to hire a DZ driver with a clean abstract and criminal background that has a minimum of 3 years experience in this field of work. Responsibilities include:
• Transporting goods safely to customers, following the delivery instructions provided by company dispatchers.
• Inspecting the designated truck before and after each trip to ensure that it is mechanically sound.
• Correctly securing goods for transportation to prevent damages and accidents.
• Supervising all loading and unloading procedures to prevent any cargo damage that may occur as a result of unsafe handling or negligence.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English when required.
• Obtaining customers’ signatures after each delivery to confirm receipt of the correct goods, in the correct quantity.
• Planning travel routes, considering possible road construction, traffic congestion, and difficult weather conditions, to ensure that deliveries are made on time.
• Promptly notifying dispatch of any delivery issues, cargo damage, and vehicle breakdowns.

Requirements:
• Must be at least 25 years of age with a valid DZ driver’s license
• A clean driving record. Abstract, CVOR, Background check is required.
• Proven experience working as a DZ Driver.
• Experience in using tailgate.
• Must have at least 3 years of North American experience
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• The ability to drive in difficult weather conditions.
• The ability to use GPS devices and road maps.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English, reading and writing.
• Availability to work overtime when required
