Heavy Equipment Operator

CBO Earthworks is looking for skilled and experienced heavy equipment operators with a minimum 5 years’ construction industry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have GPS (Trimble & Leica) experience and be fully capable of quality finish/grade work. Operators must also be experienced in digging underground utilities and conducting trench work which meets OH&S requirements and CBO Earthworks’ Code of Practice for Ground Disturbance. Candidate will have a clean Class 5 license and his/her own mode of transportation to/from Head Office. Operator Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-operational checklists on equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure smooth operation (clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessary).
Conduct trench work to the proper depth/grade which meets OH&S standards.
Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving Ground Disturbance.
