Long Haul Cabinet Delivery Driver

Class 1 OTR driver required to join small private fleet on dedicated account delivering Cabinets and parts to our dealer network throughout Canada and the US. This position requires driver assistance in the delivery process utilizing a 2 wheel dolly and pallet jack to maneuver product within the trailer.
Having 5yrs / 500 000mls experience delivering multi drop LTL freight, with an excellent record of on time safe delivery and Canadian / US HOS compliance. Clean commercial drivers abstract valid within last 30 days, in addition to completing pre employment drug and alcohol testing is a requirement. Excellent communication skills, fluency in both oral and written English. Lanes of operation are Canada and US, all lanes all year on a rotational basis as directed by dispatch, as such you will be experienced and confident in winter driving within ON / BC / WA / OR , Mountain driving experience essential along with the confidence to stop when conditions are unsafe.
Most lanes (with the exception of FL) allow driver to be home over the weekend and resets on the taken on the road are relatively infrequent. Driving a late model Volvo Automatic equipped with parking heater, Microwave, TV, upper bunk and lower seating, bed or dinette option. Pay is Bi-weekly with drivers T4 last year being approx $95k. Cell phone allowance, paid drops, waiting time and Layover where applicable.
This opportunity may suit a driver coming from a medium sized trucking company wishing to have more consistency of freight, delivery schedule is advised Thursday of previous week and drivers can influence delivery dates and times if required within reason.
