Skills/Requirements:

5yrs – Specializing in Tungsten Inert Gas arc welding (GTAW) (TIG) on sheet metal fabrication.

Operate manual TIG welding equipment & setup

Must know how to Tack and Fit assemblies independently

Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, examine welds and ensure meeting standards and/or specifications.

Types of Materials: Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, & Aluminum alloys in light gauges < 1/8” thick

Ability to lift upwards of 50lbs

Experience:

TIG Welding: 5 years (preferred)

Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW): 5 years (preferred)

Brake Press Setup Operator

5yrs experience – specializing in stainless steel equipment, custom sheet metal items

AMADA & CINCINATTI brake presses, Shears, Computer numerical control (CNC) machines

Determine cut sizes on parts using correct Bend Allowance calculations

Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.

Lay out, set up and operate brake press machines and back stops

Read and interpret drawings or follow verbal instructions to bump, bend, roll, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products

Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal.

Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates and layouts

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, and standing for long periods

Experience:

Brake Press Setup and Operation: 2 years (preferred)

AMADA or CINCINATTI Brake Press: 2 years (preferred)

Bend Allowance calculations: 2 years (preferred)

Manual Machinist – Pickering, ON, Canada

Responsibilities

– Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output

– Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping

– Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job

– Select appropriate machines (e.g. lathes, drills, mills, surface grind) and position or load material for a job

– Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues

– Determine and program size of batches and speed of machine

– Monitor output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects

– Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages

Qualifications for Machinist

– Vocational school or apprenticeship preferred

– Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail

– Great verbal and written communication skills

– >3 yrs. experience in using and/or setting up manual or semi-automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders, mills, drills etc.)

– Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements

– Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals

– Knowledge of metal properties

– Have own tool box preferred

– Outstanding mathematical skills and analytical abilities

– Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.

Metal Polishing Specialist

Skill Requirements:

Manually deburr parts with various equipment and tools

Maintain counting and organization of customer parts during handling

Complete tasks on specialized parts in small to moderate volumes

Operate specialized hand tools such as dynafiles, pencil grinder, stroke sander

Experience in polishing for #4 finish – A MUST

Experience in mirror finish polishing preferred

Impart and restore mirror finish polishing on complex components

Timesaver metal sanding and deburing
