Job Opportunities Administrative Assistant

Red Crow Community College is a First Nations college with locations in
Standoff and Lethbridge. Our mission is to meet the cultural, educational,
and training needs for Kainaiwa and beyond. The college provides
leadership through its programs and service to nurture self realization based on Kainayssini.

We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to work in the
Liberal Education Department. The Assistant is a front-line employee who
serves the Liberal Education Programs Lead and the Registrar by filing
and organizing documents, preparing written reports, record keeping,
attending events & meetings, responding to telephone, email, and in person inquiries, and supporting students and elders in a variety of capacities. The Assistant will liaison with academic institutions and other entities. They are personable, helpful and can work effectively in a team
environment.

The Assistant must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain
confidentiality in all areas. The Assistant should be comfortable working
with technology, financial competency (budgets, tuition), communicate
clearly in speech and writing, and deliver services with respect and
understanding of Blackfoot culture by participating in activities that
promote Kainaissinni.

Administrative Assistants require a certificate in Office Administration,
Business Administration, or related area. Two or more years of work
experience in an institutional or educational environment is required
Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, including Word, Excel,
and presentation programs. Database experience would be an asset.
This is a full-time position, located at our Standoff campus and it offers a
