OPEN POSITION: MECHANIC/SERVICE TECHNICIAN
As a Service Technician, you will provide exceptional customer service by troubleshooting and repairing equipment. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow from a job into a fulfilling career.
THE JOB:
PRCE Inc. is looking for a qualified person to perform in-house and outbound repairs and service on commercial and industrial floor cleaning machines throughout York region and the GTA (Toronto) area. Your responsibilities will include:
Accurately diagnosing equipment issues and determining the necessary steps to get equipment operational again.
Assessing and refurbishing company-owned and pre-owned equipment to like-new condition, replacing parts as needed.
Maintaining the proper parts, supplies, and tools in your service area or vehicle to efficiently resolve customer equipment problems.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing basic and advanced commercial and industrial DC-powered equipment.
Our Field Service Technicians enjoy a balanced work-life schedule, with work hours from 9:00am – 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, allowing them to be home every night and enjoy the weekend.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Maintain a professional image in personal appearance, service vehicles, and workstations. Humble, kind, skilled & hardworking.
Minimum of two years’ experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing automotive equipment, mechanical engineering, DC electronics, small engine equipment, or similar fields.
Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in safely using hand and power tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
Strong verbal communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
