Salary range: $44,683.28 to $49,695.30 annually

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing…

  • Set-up and maintain all information, policies, and procedures related to the College’s suppliers including completing vendor set-ups, vendor updates and SIN collection.
  • Provide guidance to college on proper vendor-related procedures and respond to queries on vendor-related questions.
  • Assist with various accounting services duties including but not limited to completion of College Visa audits, assisting with T4A creation and distribution for College servicers, auditing electronic travel claims, processing journal vouchers and reviewing payment groups and journal vouchers.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is a post-secondary diploma, preferably in Business or a related area.
  • You have a minimum of three years (full-time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Experience working with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Experience communicating with persons of various backgrounds in a customer service setting.
  • A general working knowledge of Peoplesoft would be considered an asset.
  • Accounting, Treasury or Banking experience would be considered an asset.
  • You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite including MS Teams and e-mail. Strong Microsoft Excel skills would be considered an asset.
  • You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology, and you are committed to using technology in advancing your work.
