Roles and Responsibilities
•Constructing of various building types
•Driving/operating and maintaining equipment (scissor-lift, skid steer, etc.)
•Ensure quality of workmanship, accuracy and efficient buildings
•Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
•The willingness to work extended hours as weather permits
Skills and Qualifications
•General health & safety knowledge required to be on building sites
•General understanding of building construction
•General skills and understanding of most common hand and power tools
•Comfortable with working at heights
•Attention to detail and accuracy is required
•Demonstrates professionalism, flexibility and ‘can do’ attitude
•Self-starter with the ability to work cooperatively and be willing to assist others
•Education and Experience Requirements
•Experience in the construction or building industry would be considered an asset
•Prior experience operating construction equipment including scissor-lift, bucket truck, skid steer, etc. is an asset.
Travel
Travel between Alberta and Saskatchewan may be required or requested and related to job schedule. Comfort with this is a requirement of the job.
Schedule:
•10 hour shift
•12 hour shift
•Day shift
Willingness to travel:
100% (required)
