Technical Sales Support

Technical Sales Support – $45k to $60k per year – Surrey, B.C.

Our client in the wood processing machinery manufacturing industry is seeking a Technical Sales Support to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, excellent customer service and sales acumen, and experienced Microsoft Office Suite, which will align successfully with the organization.

What is the job?
– Located in a busy forestry machinery manufacturing plant, this role is responsible for support for outside B2B sales activities.
– This role will assist with market and data analysis, preparing marketing and sales documents, as well as assisting sales processes.
– Updating video and PowerPoint presentations for clients, creating sales tools and other related decks to support sales efforts.
– Participate in sales strategy discussions.
– Potential for travel to USA to attend trade shows and gain more traction in a sales role as experience and product knowledge grows.
– Other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the job?
– Previous experience or knowledge of forestry industry or a mechanical aptitude are an asset.
– Prior sales experience and/or sales support experience is preferred.
– Self-motivation and a very strong drive to succeed, and able to work well with others as a team player.
– High level of professionalism and positive attitude.
– Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
– Knowledge of SAP Business One is an asset.
– Willingness to be flexible, always putting the customer first.
– Excellent communication (oral/written/listening) skills.
– Excellent time management skills and organized work practices
