Halifax Water is inviting applications for Four (1) Regular Full Time Labourer/Utility Worker Apprentice/Utility Operator(s) in the Operations department.

  • Responsibilities

    Under the supervision of the Works Supervisor or his designate, the Labourer/Utility Worker Apprentice/Utility Operator performs all forms of general labour work associated with the operation of the Utility in a safe, efficient manner. This position works outdoors, in all types of weather.

  • Qualifications

    Minimum qualifications for this position include Grade 12 or equivalent and the successful candidate must have satisfactory experience in maintenance and operation of a water system.
