Job Description:Job Description The Care Group (“TCG”) offers high quality residential care services to complex care clients in 9 homes throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. We are looking for a housekeeper to join our Point Grey Private Hospital team in Vancouver (Central Kitsilano)! Shift Schedules: Mondays – Fridays 8:30am-4:30pm or 7am – 3pm.Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:To support clean and safe environment to the residents and visitors at Care Home.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances.Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.Qualifications:Must possess WHIMIS trainingCleaning experienceGood communication and listening skills Proof of full vaccinationExperience using auto-scrubberSkills and Abilities:FlexibilityAbility to work independentlyPhysically and mentally able to perform duties for above positionShows a caring and considerate attitude to resident, visitors and staffStrong cleaning skillsDemonstrates good time managementAbout us: Point Grey Private Hospital is located in Vancouver’s ocean-side community of Kitsilano.Point Grey, significantly expanded and improved in 2020, offers 153 licensed residential care beds consisting of primarily single occupancy rooms.Point Grey boasts views of the mountains and ocean as well as large windows and homelike furnishings. This home has four stories with a dining area, recreation areas and a large outdoor patio on each floor.
