POSITION DETAILS
• Precast concrete production team
• Mon-Fri, hours available between 5:00 am – 9:00pm
• Medical benefits at 6 months.
• Opportunities for training and advancement into leadership positions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set up of molds per drawing, including cleaning and prepping molds & rebar cage.
• Strip molds and palletize product utilizing overhead cranes. Move product to storage.
• Pouring of concrete, shovelling and finishing concrete.
• Maintain shop cleanliness including organization of tools & supplies
• Operate forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Participate in safety program and contribute to a healthy, safe environment
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 2-year experience in precast concrete or related work.
• You must be able to comfortably lift 75 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime if required
• Excellent communication skills, proficient English Language skills & able to clearly communicate.
• You must have or get within 4 months of start date a valid 1st aid ticket, WHMIS and CSTS.
• Have a positive attitude with a mindset towards problem solving.
• Ability to work efficiently & safely within set safety guidelines.
• Overhead crane experience is a valued asset but not mandatory.
• Valid drivers license and own transportation. Public transportation is not available in our area.
