The Operations Manager will oversee quality control measures on incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the maintenance and compliance of a safe working environment, and supervising Facility Assistants at the location. Day to DaySupervising the daily operation of the elevatorManaging the quality control and blending of grainSupervising Facility Assistants to ensure business needs are executed safely, efficiently and profitably Managing the facility safety program and actively working to create a strong safety cultureOverseeing food safety complianceManaging regular maintenance, scheduling and repair on facility equipmentSupporting the procurement of grain and sales of crop inputs Ensure reasonable business practices are followed consistentlyQualificationsMinimum 3 years’ experience in the operation of a grain elevator Thorough knowledge and understanding of the grain industry including grading factors, elevator equipment and processes, and effective product storage managementPractical knowledge in mechanical repairExperience in team management or supervision, demonstrating effective leadership abilitiesProficient computer skills with aptitude for learning and adapting to new software applicationsTo apply and learn more visit us at www.pandhcareers.comWe thank all applicants, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
