They will be aware of all aspects of work scope and will work to ensure project needs are met by applying exceptional ability to communicate, problem solve, and complete tasks in an effective and timely manner.Reporting Structure:Project Coordinator reports directly to the Senior Project CoordinatorPrimary Responsibilities:Review and analyze material costs for purchaseManage change orders and subcontractor invoicesReview and Manage work orders and shop drawings, purchase orders, and change ordersConfer with project team, contractors, and suppliers to resolve any construction problemPerform tasks directed by the PM in support of project needsCost estimating and quantity take-offDocumentation distribution and logging (RFI, Site Instructions, Meeting Minutes, etc.)Experience, Education & Qualifications:2 years of experience in a project coordination roleDiploma or BSc Degree in Engineering, Construction Coordination or related field would be an asset Construction industry experience, design-build, MS Office, Spectrum, Traqspera, etc.Ability to read drawings, specifications, inspection reports, etc.Ability to manage subcontractors and vendorsAbility to negotiate and track change orders with both owners and subcontractorsAbility to manage multiple projects and tasks at a timeAbility to meet sensitive timelinesStrong knowledge of MS Office suite including MS Excel, and MS ProjectSkills & Proficiencies: Self-motivated, with initiative to take on a wide variety of tasksAbility to work independently and as part of a teamThoughtful and confident decision making and high ethical standardsGood verbal and written communication skillsGood interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalismProblem-solving skills and the ability to think and react quickly under pressureService-oriented approach in working with technical and non-technical business owners and different personality typesHigh attention to detail and high level of organization required to prioritize and manage multiple tasksReliable, dependable and professionalCareer-minded individual seeking opportunity for future growth Powered by JazzHR gJqofGUmPF
